The Neolithic Revolution In a Nutshell.
The Neolithic Revolution was the evolutionary shift from hunting animals to gathering food and systematic agriculture. Instead of moving to find the food humans grew the food where they were, which lead to a surplus of food. A surplus of food made people settle down and that led to a rise in skilled workers. Division of labor and trade followed. Basically settling down in one place allowed for communities to form. Sadly, the Neolithic Revolution came to an end with the discovery of metal.
